: What is the best sound to go with Dogma? Dolby?
SDDS is the worst of all the digital sound systems( SDDS Dolby Digital, DTS), the track is prone to a lot of glitches and tends to get messed up from time to time.. have you ever been watching a movie and it sounds like the sound cuts in and out? well chances are that its sdds. SDDS also has a lower frequency range I think so you dont get the extreme highs and lows.
Dolby Digital is pretty good, better than SDDS but not as good as DTS.
DTS has the widest frequency range of all the theatrical digital sound systems. Its the one to go with.
Dolby Stereo. not digital. mono surround speakers... pops and hisses still in sound track a little.
Mono. one speaker. pops and hisses galore. muffled. distortion... yuck.
