: : Has anyone else sat through the credits of "Dogma" (which ruled by the way), and noticed that it said "Jay and Silent Bob will be back in "Clerks 2: Still Clerkin' ". Anyways, does anyone (Kevin) know when it will be released and will it still be in black and white? What kind of role will Jay and SB have in it after saving the world in Dogma?, unless it is set before Dogma, like how Mallrats is set before Clerks. Well enough questions for now.

: Here's a few answers for you:

: 1) First, I think it was actually "Clerks 2: Hardly Clerkin'" but I could be wrong.

: 2) It will probably not be released for at least a couple years, since Kevin has stated publicly that he wants to take at least a year off making films.

: 3) probably not black & white, although it was mentioned by someone in red here one time that there may be a mix of color and black and white. Of course, this was back when Clerks 2 was still just an offhanded remark at Vulgarthon.

: 4) I personally would like to see it set before the events in Dogma, but that would also mean it would have to be set before Chasing Amy. I believe that the line at the end of Dogma where the mention going to the Quick Stop means that it will be set after the events of Dogma. But who knows.

: ksbDo any of you have an idea of how many thirty-plus year old clerks are out there? To say that the idea of a sequel, especially one taking place after the amusing "caning" incident involving Caitlin and Dante, would be well worth our hard earned cash as long as it lived up to the heart, soul, and quality level of the first movie.
