According to an interview with Joey Lauren Adama, Kevin practices the technique of doing line readings with his actors. That is he goes over exactly how he wants his lines read rather than letting the actors interpret the dialogue their own way. Whether or not he did this with Mr. Big Shot Movie Star Ben Affleck I don't know.
