Saw it this weekend. In my opinion: Ingenious and Resourceful!
Having gone to Catholic school my whole life (including my current stint in a Jesuit school for my masters) nothing made me think more about my religion and ritual than your writing for this film. I did not find it offensive or blasphemous. In fact, it made me want to do a "fact-check" with the ol' bible. Thumbs up! While I wasn't familiar with your writing before, I'll be on the lookout.
