I have been looking over all these questions and ideas about Clerks 2: Hardly Clerkin' and one thing hits me more than anything; Dante died at the end of Clerks (watch the special Laser Disc and read the screenplay). I have heard rumours that Randal was a total pain on the set of Clerks, so I doubt that he would return as well. Also, Dante HAS gained a lot of poundage since his Clerkin days, so Derris would be all over him now. I think expanding the Hicks family with his cameos is a better way to get this guy a paycheck. Whatever direction Clerks 2 takes, I think that he should find a way to squeeze Jason Lee in there. He rocks (except the horns and clean cut were creepy). If I were a real glutton for punishment, I would suggest Clerks 2 be clerks in Fashionable Male. Let's see just how many uncomfortable places Shannon has been.
