I've noticed something on my umpteenth viewing of the commentary on the Clerks DVD. When Kevin talked about Jeff and Lisa's engagement he asked very intoxicated Jason Mewes if anyone would fall in love on the set of Mallrats. To this Mewes replied something like " Me and Moobs" I think thats what he said. Then Kevin said that Moobs is his nickname. Now being the smart person that i am, i put together that Moobs, sounds a lot like Mooby. I was just wondering if the name of the golden calf Mooby came from Kevin's nickname. Maybe i'm just slow?
