Hey, I have this theory which goes like this:
Mallrats the movie is Kevin's attempt at making a movie which equals a comic book. That's what the deal is with all the Wile E. Coyote schematics, everything that Silent Bob (Kevin?) is involved with, Brodie's obsession with heroic anatomy and the later reference in Chasing Amy to the saying "snoochie boochies" as only said Bluntman and Chronic comic.
This is also the reason why I found it Fucking Hilarious, I loved the Stan Lee bit.
This would also be the reason why people who aren't into comics didn't like it.
Kevin am I lost?
