It has been speculated that great christian figures like Noah, Moses etc...didn't go to heaven initially. Rather, they were in a sort of blissful limbo, possibly Eden, and then with the coming of Christ were let into the pearly gates. I went to Xian Chat room and some zealot through this one at me. I'm not fluent enough in my Bible to remember if there is any mention of it or not.
