I was reading my actual first-print copy of "Jay and Silent Bob #1" a month or two ago, and the Graphitti Designs ad struck me as odd for the first time reading it. I'd never seen an ad in an Oni book that was actually smack-dab in the middle of the comic, so my mind started working. The sound of the gears turning in my head woke up the neighbors. Anyways, after many hours of deep thought and concentration, I came to the conclusion that the ad was placed in the book in order to maintain the layout of the two double-page splashpages, the "walking, talking STDs" page and the "let me do the talking" page. Anyways, when I heard about the "Chasing Dogma" trade paperback, I wondered how this would be handled. Surely they wouldn't put a Graphitti Designs ad right in the middle of a collected edition. So, since I don't have a local comic shop, I had to wait until my copy arrived from the Stash. I only ordered it about 2 weeks ago, so I haven't got it yet, but I was out of town today, and I decided to open the book to read the Alanis forword. After I read that (great article, BTW) I remembered, "hey, how the fuck did they cover that page?" and lo and behold, there was a new page featuring Jay and Silent Bob getting shit from Walt and Steve-Dave again. Why the fuck didn't anyone mention this before?
