: : : Just wondering if anyone (Kevin?) knows whether or not the film will be done the same way? (i.e. b&w, etc.)
: : Kevin has stated before that making "Clerks" in black & white was not an artistic choice but a cost effedctive way to make his movie. It is doubtful that "Clerks 2" will be filmed in b/w with 16mm. You all forget that he no longer makes movies.... he is now makes films. Why would he digress?
: It wouldn't be digressing. It isn't so unthinkable that because the first movie was one way, it could possibly be the same way with the next.
: That's cute how films and movies.. hmm. So you're saying previous efforts were movies, and now he's making films. There's a difference between the two? What? The money put into them? That doesn't make sense. He put all he had into each film, therefore, they are a film.
It isn't a matter of money. It's a matter of quality, and the expression of the art. And as for Kevin putting "all he had" into each film, this is hardly the case with either Mallrats or Dogma. Mallrats was bankrolled by Universal, and Dogma by Miramax
