: Some of us cave-dwellers don't yet own DVD players and really hate waiting an additional six months to add beloved films into their respective home libraries. Yes, I am aware that films are usually priced for sale immediately only if they 1) make a kerjillion clams at the box office or 2) are fun for the whole family, but is there any possible exception to be made here? I'm already pretty bummed that I *still* don't own a copy of Rushmore or South Park. Must I be made to suffer more?

It is remarkably easy to get two VCRs, set 'em up, and make your own homemade tape. I know people (not me, mind you, but just people I know) who've had VHS copies of Rushmore and South Park for a while now (well, Rushmore they've had for a while - South Park, these anonymous people just copied that last week). If you feel really guilty about that, then be sure to buy the priced-to-own copy when it comes out. But if you can't wait...

Plus, I really don't think Kevin has ANY say on whether or not his video is priced-to-own; look how long it took to get a deluxe edition of the Mallrats disc out.

Please don't report me to the FBI.
