It's not just the cost of a player, it's the cost of a whole new library that makes us vhs owners cringe. It took a long fucking time and money to amass the collection I have now, I should just chuck it all to keep up with the latest technological craze? I'll wait until the next Big Thing in home movies comes along, that'll bring down the price of dvd's to a reasonable level.
