: Some of us cave-dwellers don't yet own DVD players and really hate waiting an additional six months to add beloved films into their respective home libraries. Yes, I am aware that films are usually priced for sale immediately only if they 1) make a kerjillion clams at the box office or 2) are fun for the whole family, but is there any possible exception to be made here? I'm already pretty bummed that I *still* don't own a copy of Rushmore or South Park. Must I be made to suffer more?

Go to Blockbuster's they usually have previewed movies for sale a few months after they come out on rental. The quality of the tapes are usually pretty good and they're relatively cheap. I know for a fact they have Rushmore for sale, at least they do at my local blockbuster's.
