I know you get these all the time, but a few close friends and I love every movie you make. Plus, in ways you have addressed us all in a movie or two. For me, it was Mallrats first and foremost. When I first saw it I was exactly that, a mallrat. The hilarity, and yet reality of the movie made it my all time favorite. My bud Ashe has worked as a convenience Clerk for years now, and Clerks exposed a variety of issues he has had to deal with in the past. Chasing Amy was another one for me, I had the same problem for quite awhile. Chasing Amy brought memories into a very comedic perspective. Of course I think Dogma is a movie that should apply to everyone, because frankly I think if you haven't gone through some of these same thoughts about religion then something is wrong. We've always thought it would be great to make a screenplay involving our lives in the piece of shit town we live in. Of course it would have quite a few references to your movies, almost like your references to Star Wars(yes we love it too, we waited in line overnight for opening tickets). The best we have done is sit down and storm thoughts and ideas though. It seems at this time we just don't have that special something to sit down and actually toil out a screenplay. If we ever do, you (and the people of View Askew) will be the first person to read it.
