Hey all,

I just wanted to post a message here real quick. I do an internet radio show, and at Wizard World Chicago this last summer, I conducted a short interview with Kevin (He was the guest of honor that year.) But there's a little backstory behind it. I first met Kevin at a Pane he did at a local university the winter before. He was way cool to Myself & John (our co-producer) and promised he'd grant me an interview the next time he was in town, and to just remind him.

Now, flash forward to last summer. I showed up at the 'Con, got my Press badge, and headed with John to do some stuff with Ray Park (we were late).
Anyways, it took a while to talk w/Kevin on the second day. Wizard staff had jerked me around for a while, At one point, I was told I could write him a note to remind him, and they would pass it on. The guy, stuck it in his breast pocket, and high tailed it for the dealer's area.

Undeterred, I did what any good ameture journalist would do, I waited by the signing table (gotta love the press badge) and approached Kevin as he got up to leave for the panel...

"Uh, Hi. Kevin? My name's Eric Lindstrom; I met you at a panel at the university last winter and I just wanted to remind you that you said you'd grant me a minute or two for a brief interview for my internet show when you came into town again..."

"Huh? Oh... Yeah, I remember that. Yeah, that's cool, I have a minute free afteh this panel. Is that good?"

...My god, I thought to myself, He actually remembered! How cool is that! Hey, even if he didn't ACTUALY remember, he played it off like he did, which is way cool of him.

"Sure", I said.

"You gonna view the panel?" he asked

"Wouldn't miss it", I replied.

John and I sat throgh the panel, which was great. All the juicy stuff about Marvel Knights. We even saw pro wrestler, Raven at the panel. snapped a pic or two for the website too. We had to wait for wizard to complete their interview(s) with Kevin before our turn came. John and myself had written out questions on the way there that day. I babbled during the interview at one point, but overall, it turned out well.

So, in the end, though there was a lot of red tape, the interview went great. I even went so far as to thank the wizard staff that had assisted me. Overall, the convention was great, and our listeners loved the interview. Thanks Kevin, you ROCK!!!

If you want to hear the interview and get a sneak peek at our new internet TV show, go to http://welcome.to/insaneradio and check it out.

Eric Lindstrom.

BTW: The last day of the show, Kevin signed a copy of Jay and Silent Bob #1 for me, he wrote: "To Eric, The King of Radio". Hehe, he really knows how to boost a guy's ego, doesn't he? Thanks a lot, Guys! Happy Holidays!
