To elaborate a little Adam Herz the writer of "American Pie" is writing (or co-writing) it. (according to IMDB)
I'm a little pissed off because it's allways been a dream for me that if I ever make it and become a screenwriter that I wanted to do a remake. It's a perfect film for a remake (not a sequel). Just update it the times. But you have to be careful when messing with a classic. It has to be done right. And even though I would love to do it, I can't think of anyone better then Adam Herz to do it.
The only others that I could think might do a good job are our very own KS and whomever wrote "Can't Hardly Wait".
