I just realized something...
I have not seen JAWS since I was a five or so. I got to see it again and realized that there was a scene similar to CHASING AMY. The scene was when Banky and Allisa were comparing "battle scars" at the lesbian bar. There was a similar scene in JAWS where Richards Dreyfus's character and the shark hunter (his name escapes me) were comparing battle scars.
I thought it was interesting. Did Kevin Smith copy that scene from JAWS?
On another note, DOGMA was an intelligent and thought provoking film. I LOVED IT!
