This appeared on Darkhorizons.com today:
Daredevil: Despite various failures made by comic books to become films ("Steel"), this one seems to be making it but the question is with the help of whom? "Blade" director Stephen Norrington seems to be the rumoured hot contender, but 'The Movie Man' has heard a quite different rumour:
"Many sources are now reporting that Marvel Entertainment is in talks with Blade director Steve Norrington to direct DAREDEVIL and the talks have been positive so far. Marvel Entertainment is also considering apparently none other than "Dogma" director Kevin Smith to helm it. Smith has had a very positive history with Marvel Comics AND The Horned One (Daredevil), he just finnished up a 6( or is it 7) issue run on the newly renewed Daredevil series and fans ate his work up and demanded for more. Marvel has been considering both Smith and Norrington for some time now and apparently only time (and talent) will tell who the director will be."
