Time is not a constant, and gravity can alter it. when a gravitational force so strong as a black hole to where it can absorb light, it alters time. with enough lead sheilding and a strong enough ship, flying through a black hole would in essence be like flying through a rip in time. However, your exit factor would be random, so you'd have really no way of getting back. Didn't we learn all this in about 8 movies?
