LOL. I will. Well I feel it was sort of an uneventful New Years Eve,Dick Clark was cut short, (which I don't really watch that much since MTV's new years bash got really cool a few years ago.) But that's not the point.. We were promised that 2000 was going to come in with wall of flame Evil space monkeys nukeing the weaker countrys as a display of power the heading for the capital electricity going nuts looting in the steets a New Years for thwe record books!
What'd we get? Watching forign people celebrate New Years all day then when 11:59:59 came around poof-- nada -- No end of the world freaks going nuts and doing something humorous and crazy that we'll all be watching on fox "When people go Ape s----" No catastrophes, no cool explosions. From what everyone had said and all the 2000 hype I figured Atlantis would rise and God would show up smack a few televageslists treat the world to some Gorditias then head home, and Then the Space monkeys would arrive...
But none of that happend all it was was the world saying: "There ya go ya worrying idiots. There was never such a thing as Y2K" "Same thing as last year just with more zeros" Honestly what is it with peoples fasination with the number zero which is really a non-number #0 issue comics sell like hot cakes people celebrate when their odomiter (sp?) turns over, and When the year does the same people freak out! All tonight was just us not screwing things up for another year. The planets still mostly intact. No Space Monkeys..
