There has been some word on the Mallrats comic series, and the information will be updated in the summaries sometime in the near future.
Basically, Kevin has mentioned that it will involve the basic idea of "Die Hard in a mall." Kevin hinted that it will be Shannen Hamilton that will portray the villain (remember his face was on the back of a milk carton in Clerks: The Comic Book), and Wizard reported at one time that Oni Press was negotiating for the likeness rights of Stan Lee.

: : This is my first time post to this board, and I can't claim that I'm the biggest Askew fan in the world, but I am a fan non-the-less. But I'm not quite in the loop as it were, and am not sure if my question was already asked/answered/ or if I'm just an idiot... *gasp*... Anywho, I was just watching my Mallrats DVD with the Multi-Angle Audio Commentary on, and I heard Kevin mention something about possibly doing a comic book sequal. I would think there would be some information somewhere on the site about it, if plans were to move forward with this plan. I didn't see anything on it on the WWWSummaries, so I figured I'd look here. Thanks.
