Spike Lee, Oliver Stone, Jim Jarmusch, Spielberg (yes, Spielberg; particularly for 'Jaws' and 'Schindler's List'), Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez, Howard Hawkes, Scorcese, 'Boogie Nights'-era Paul Thomas Anderson.
All guys I like. I'd be hard pressed to call any of them influential anymore, though. I like to appreciate their stuff, not ape their stuff.
