Yeesh. Cantcha smell a lame attempt to keep Toads from deleting my "firsties" post a mile away? OK, on to the particulars:
--How anyone could answer this but Kevin is hard to grasp. It's a motivation question, and I haven't seen anything about his motivation for doing open endings in my year plus of posting. The answers you chose below are not necessarily supported by information given in the films - they're your own interpretation.
--Open items include:
-Does Dante get back together with Veronica - ie, does she forgive him
-Do Holden and Alyssa get back together
-Are Banky and Holden able to be friends again
-Do Bartelby or Loki or both, get back to Heaven
-What exactly happened to Azrael
-Daredevil: Who actually killed all the children, if not Mysterio
Blah diddy blah diddy blah. I could go on and on. So I've been kinda wondering why Kevin does this. Since he steadfastly refuses to answer such questions, it's clear he likes open endings. Might be nice if he said why someday.
Awaiting a Kinison-esque flame,
John
: : OK, to keep this on topic...any particular reason why you like open endings so much? Major parts of your films (except Mallrats) are left open to interpretation at the end.
: : ...Yes I KNOW it's a repost. Might be nice if Kevin answered it sometime.

: Remeber? Dante catches a remington the hard way? Totally out of character for the flick,Im happy he cut it. And Dogma was pretty closed. Bethany gets her tubes and life back, Jay and Bob get zippo(as per usual), The Angleic types go to heaven while Angel Benji gets his head nuked and goes to hell. All the people who had been smitten were unsmitten and all the property that had been destructed had been restructed.
