Emailing you from Ireland.... one of those places where there is a huge majority of Devout Catholics......each one with a narrow minded opinion on society devolopment in general.
Saw Dogma the six days after christmas (second day of release in ireland), it was a friday night.......i pre booked my ticket...the cinema was jointed but we were (me and the girlfriend) one of only 20 in the dogma screen. There are 3 cinema in the city i live in and Dogma soon disappeared from all except one within the space of two weeks.
Last week some of our devout religious entusiasts (excuse the spelling) started to pray outside the last cinema playing dogma. Word Spread like the word of jesus and now the cinema have moved Dogam to a bigger screen due to the large crowds going to see why these people stand outside the door... blasting the rosery.
I work for the local newspaper and we recently printed an article about this whole affair...including pictures of the protest.... if you want them....just ask
