Cutting things in Dogma

I was reading the Dogma screenplay again yesterday. I noticed how much more the Shit Demon was in. Honestly, I'm glad you trimmed some things, (like him turning into flowers at the end) yet part of me feels that it would have worked if he was in more than one scene. For me, the shit demon just didn't work when only in one scene. Even though I didn't like the other scripted scenes with him, I would have rather have had them in, or have him taken out altogether. Does anyone else share this all or none standpoint on the Shit Demon or anything else. Dont get me wrong, I loved Dogma, saw it four times, but the shit demon always bugged me.
