: .. not after Kevin's statements about how Linda was the hardest person he's ever had to work with and her obvious absence from most of the pre-release hype (of course she was in France.. who would turn down the trip?)..

And therein lies the problem, I guess.

With CLERKS I'm not sure what the logic was, but I suppose since they mostly gathered people off the set of MALLRATS, there simply wasn't any point to snatching up anyone not already there.

On MALLRATS there was already hard feelings between Kevin and - what? - all the women? Ok, we know the deal on Ms. Adams. Claire Forlani doesn't seem to consider it a career highlight either, although I'm not clear if there's personal issues... I've gotten the same feeling about Shannon Dougherty, although maybe a little more ambivilence or something...

And then we come back to Ms. Adams. I'm guessing she's not on the AMY commentary. Was that recorded after "the trouble?" I wouldn't've thought so...

: Alanis.. now that would be good but honestly.. she's in one scene and was only on the set for a day or two.. wouldn't really contribute much..

Indeed.

: .. now.. having KIM on the commentary... I'd buy it just for the sweet voice of the goddess known only as.... Kim...

Hear, HEAR!

What we really need is for Kevin and the female leads in his films to start getting along all the way through shooting and beyond, since I agree that the women are important to all of his films. It's indeed a shame that they aren't on any of the commentaries.
