While at Hollywood video last Saturday night, my friends and I saw some new display that Hollywood had set up. Apparently,
they got some indie films that I assume were in limbo and thought it would be a good idea to set them out in a special display
under the title "FirstRites". Now, as a connoisseur of the Fucked Up Movie, I talked them into renting one of these films, wasn't
too bad. What I was wondering was, have you heard about this organization and/or seen this stuff at Hollywood? Apparently
they just installed it this month, and it was interesting, as they had like 8 copies apiece of like 10 different movies. (Which is a
lot, considering they usually only stock like 1-2 copies of the lower budget releases) I'm not trying to push these movies or
anything, I just found it interesting that Hollywood would invest what appears to be a decent amount of cash into the indie film
market. I guess they are trying to find the next "Blair Witch Project". (Which is a shame, because the BWP, while interesting in
a ghost story kind of way, was largely successful because of marketing).
The other question was, as a Jersey Boy have you seen Sopranos and if so, whatdya think?

(btw, in case you're wondering which movie I saw in the firstrites thing, it was called Social Intercourse. It wasn't amazing, but it
was decently entertaining, especially after watching the mental vomit known as HurlyBurly (ugh!))
(Another side note: Go rent Run Lola Run if you haven't already)
