First of all, who will be willing to return? We can assume that Ben and Jason Lee, Jay and Kevin will be back... but how about the rest? For instance, well, all of the chicks. And then there's the issue of Jeremy London. I'm not sure anyone wants *him* back, but you can't go with out the T.S. character, can you?

I just look down the list of characters who are unlikely to return and it starts to no longer feel like a sequel to MALLRATS, but a couple of the key characters popping up in some other movie, which in itself sounds cool, however I'd guess it wouldn't be worth anyone's while to licence the character's if they couldn't get the full marketing value of the name, etc...

I just don't know...

I know that in a perfect world a MALLRATS sequel would be very cool, however I'm not sure how compromised a version of the idea I'm comfortable with personally.
