I've stated in previous posts that Kev & jay have a LOONG way to go before they are "overexposed."

Ricky Martin was overexposed. MacCauly Kulkin was overexposed. Being overexposed means gracing the covers of MANY magazines,(Not just HIGH TIMES, all respect to Jay), being on EVERY talk show, and the subject of EVERY TV news magazine. (Extra! Extra!, Hollywood Tonight, etc)

Our erstwhile protagonists, while known and loved in OUR small circle, and in other insular, film-based communities, are still widely UNKNOWN to the general population. Claiming "maximum saturation" at this point is setting sighs far too low.

I have faith that Kevin understands this--Hell, there is a NATIONAL prime-time show coming very soon featuring jay & Silent Bob. I can only hope that the PR firm representing the show has some guerilla tactics, and gets that sumbitch on the cover of TV guide, and generates a heady buzz so that "Jay and Silent Bob" become as ubiquitious as "Bart & Homer Simpson" were in the early part of the 90s.

Because, in the parlance of another popular show during that time period, that means MO MONEY! MO MONEy! Mo MONEY! for a bunch of cool and deserving folk.

: Just wondering what if any thoughts people had on the possibility of Jay and Silent Bob to a lesser extent being type cast in those roles only. What with the cameo in a huge release pic....just wondering if Jay in particular runs the risk of being type cast as the "stoner dude" for the rest of his life. Maybe for his sake it is time to hang up the bong...metaphorically speaking of course.
