To Kevin Smith. Mr. Smith, first of all, this is not a bitch, piss, or a moan about anything, a request for a job, for you to read something, or anything like that. My whole life I've been toying with the idea of becoming a writer. I'm 23 and I've been writing since the womb, pretty much, but most everything I've written either ended up in the trash or not getting done. I've been working on a couple of projects for the last few years, and I'm getting to the point where I feel like it's never going to come together. I was home from work sick and watched Clerks, 'Rats, & Amy and decided to revisit this site. I checked the last picture in the Amy Gallery and saw the caption when your sister said, "Be a filmmaker - approach everything in life as if you are already a filmmaker." You're right, it wasn't stupid. I thought about your movies, what you must've gone through, the time you invested in what you wanted to achieve, and
it made me realize that I've spent way too much time in what I do just to throw it down to shit. I've got you to thank for that. (Well, you and my mom, but I digress) Anyway, I hope to see more of your work in the future, and I hope I didn't waste your time.
