I was thinking E.T. and The first Jaws as #1&2, but I forgot about Indiana Jones, so throw "Temple" and "Raiders" in at 3&4.
Come on, didn't you just love the whole, Tootles losing his marbles thing, and didn't you feel all warm inside when he got them back at the end?
The whole Neverland depiction, I thought, was right on the money with its beautiful use of colors and the different seasons side by side. And damnit, I'm not afraid to admit that I loved the whole, trading insults leading to the food fight, sequence. Bangarang!

: Hook easily has to be among Speilberg's top 3 films.
: Yes yes, screw Indiana Jones, fuck off E.T., Close Encounters blah blah, Jaws schmaws, that syrupy crap jam-packed with the worst child acting since RETURN OF SWAMP THING was unjustly ignored at Oscar time.
: I liked the two leads alot, but jeez, lay the schmaltz on a little thicker, why don't you. "You're doing it Peter!" Makes me shudder. The scene where he "imagines" the food-fight? Yes yes, not a dry eye in the house.
: It wasn't as bad as say CONGO, but one of his top three films? No no.
: You thought you were in Neverland? Well, that's more a topic for your therapist.
