I saw a "new" John Hughes flick for rent in the store...cant recall the name of it....anyone help out...Also Dr. Detroit was on TBS last night...oh my gawd!

: : I heard somewhere that they are planning another Griswold venture. They even had a theme (i.e. X-Mas, Vegas) picked out, but it escapes me at the moment.

: I read an article a few months ago about Beverly D'Angelo being a guest host on a morning radio show. Chevy called in and mentioned that the studio (Universal?) had approved his idea for "National Lampoon's Australian Adventure."

: Would anyone like to place bets on whether or not "Australian Adventure" will go straight to Cinemax? Don't laugh. That's where washed-up friends of Dan Akyroyd go to die. Ever hear of "Susan's Plan"? No? That was John Landis' latest movie (staring Mr. Akyroyd himself). It debuted on a Cinemax Saturday night with almost no publicity.

: Good comedians should know when to die. Unfortunately, someone took Chevy to the Betty Ford Clinic.

: I promise I'll post something happy soon,

: I'm sure Chev is bouncing off the walls about that; even the two actors that played his kids in the last one have enjoyed more fruitful careers recently than he. The sad part is that if they bring back Randy Quaid as Cousin Eddie, I'll go see the fucker. That guy just cracks me up. Does that make me a bad person?
