:At no point does it say anywhere that I or anybody I know made that picture. All it says is a fan made it. I didn't specifically say Darth Doblin made it because I don't know the guy and I didn't know if he wanted me putting his name on my site. It was an oversite and as soon as I get back to my house and off this school computer I will fix the error and put his name on it, but there was no dirty pool going on.

Man that is a kick in the balls...dirty pool and here I thought the site was cool...guess you cant trust anyone
:
: : Ok- all bets are off. I just ACTUALLY looked at the SOME LUCK production page, and read through it. It explicitly claims that YOU GUYS made the mona Lunchbox picture. That is dirty pool, son. Please either change that text, or remove the picture.
: : Using something without permission is really a venial sin; it is like masturbation- Everybody does it. Claiming, in no uncertain terms, that you are the AUTHOR of said "theft" is the action of an Anti-Fonz. (i.e. Not Cool.)
: :
: : : Ye gods! A man makes a tribute picture of one of his favorite writer/filmmakers in drag as the Mona Lisa, and the next thing you know, it's plastered all over the web!!
: : : Ahem.
: : : Not that I'm a dick about this; I made that Mona Lisa pic for the enjoyment of the fans, (and with the hope that Kim would replace it on Kevin's Desktop when he left for CA)... use it in good health. But in general, it is better to err on the side of caution when using graphics like that. A little email note asking permission before poublishing is really all that is (well, in this case, *was*) in order. Especially since you are an aspiring filmmaker, you must understand that intellectual property rights are the stock and trade of the business. Just ask that dude who sued Eddie Murphy for COMING TO AMERICA. So, really, using that picture is OK. In fact, I'm flattered. But it's best to be in the habit of obtaing artist's permission when using anything, be it image, song, product, etc,.

: : : : : I have seen DOGMA eight times and I went alone 6 of those times so if anything you have alot more of a life then I do, especially seeing that I had to drive half an hour to see it and I didn't get lucky enough to see it at the dollar theater, I had to pay full price each time.
