Dear Kevin and fans,
I am writing this post on behalf of most Christians. I think in the past few months (months what am is saying, i mean forever) Christians have come off as arrogant, conservative, opinionated, hatemongers, and for the most part that is true, I live with a few believe me I know, but after viewing the film Dogma, I have to say I thought it to be completely unbelievable. I have been a fan of your films since i saw Clerks for a dollar at my undergrad's movie theatre and have waited with anticipation for almost anything that you touched.
Then came Dogma a comic slant on the Holy Church I couldn't wait. Then all that crap happened and i was just like this sucks. so now i am in grad school (a very conservative christian grad school in). And a there was talk of having a boycott of your film (this is a compeletely absurd idea anyway, if you don't want to see a film don't go see it but come on don't get mad at me if i do. Anyway let me get right to the point a few of us liberal minded students (those with a brain) decided to go and let me tell you we loved it. Even a few of our teachers recommended it. So in closing of this very long email, I just want to say kudos to you Kevin and don't let these arrogant pinheads who call themselves followers of Christ bother you (even though you probably don't) and people who aren't Christians we are not all like this. A friend of mine once said the worst part about being a Christian is other Christians. Thank God we follow Christ and not people because then things around here would really be FUBAR.
So I beg you Kevin please keep making films like this i like what you are doing and i have to tell you my faith was really encouraged after this film. so have a good one and
