O' Kevin, our Kevin,
We all have enjoyed your writing in films and comics, but I was wondering if you are planning on writing any novels. Perhaps taking some of those radical ideas floating around in your mind which aren't necessarily epic in their scope, but which might make for a good, tight short story? We who have taste and enjoy your work all love your strong characters and spiffy dialogue, so is there a possiblity that we might be seeing more writing from you aside from scripts and comics? (not that you should stop on either of those!)
Since great writers seem to emerge from almost every generation whose works help to define the times during their era, do you think that you might write novels and try to capture the feel of the world from your perspective, possibly helping to define our times and generation for future reference? Is this something that you feel you are already achieving in your film and comic projects? Do these ideas even concern you?
What motivates you to write besides having fun and entertaining ; what are some of the purposes which you write to fulfill?
Wondering whom among us might be the Steinbecks or Hemingways of our time/generation, JEFF ( who happens to originally be from
Salinas, California, birthplace of John Steinbeck)
p.s. if someone should ever approach Wizard about making a "Keep-Squeezing-them-monkeys-Lad" movie, would you lend a hand in the writing? [:)
