Here's something I found a bit strange; Kevin is
speaking at UMASS Amherst tonight as part of thier
Distinguished Speakers series and the only reason
I knew about it is through this website. No radio
ads, nothing in any of the newspapers, no flyers,
nothing. But when they had Jello Biafra as a
speaker, it was heavily promoted. Jello Biafra?
C'mon...
On the other hand, it's probably better with a
small turnout. There won't be as many frat guys
yelling stuff.
Here's a cute aside-my 4 year old is playing with
her kitchen set as i'm typing this and just
informed me that she's "baking cookies for kevin
smith." she doesn't know who he is, she just heard
me say that i was going to see him tonight. I hope
kevin likes invisible cookies.
