That's what a friend of a friend, an animator, called the Disney production machine. They also had a pet saying: "If you're not gonna come in on Saturday, then don't even THINK of coming to work on Sunday!" Neatly sums up Disney's corporate philosophy.
My old boss, who's in the process of firing up yet another dot com, was stabbed in the back twice by upper echelon Disney marketing suits.
So, Dr. Smith, I'm sorry you got burned at Mousechwitz. Keep your chin up, as my dad would always say (and I always fucking hated it when he said it.) I'm sure you'll figure something out. I recommend tearing Clerks away from ABC and finding a better deal elsewhere. Better to delay the launch months or even a year than watch your work die an underserved death.
