Okay, I'm getting that you didn't dig "Magnolia". But "Titus"? Is it really that good? All I know is, it's the year 2000, my resolution is not to pay eight or nine bucks to sit through a movie I've sat through a thousand times before. I want originality.
Now I've seen about fifty Shakespeare adaptations in the past couple of years and none of 'em really rocked my boat. Plus "Titus" has got to be one of the worst plays ever written...in the movie I expect lots of blood & gore plus some gratuitous sex thrown in for good measure, and a lot of poor delivery of Elizabethan slang. Am I wrong?
It looks like a good cast, but yours is the only recommendation I've heard.
