I knew there was more to this "rivalry" than met the eye. Apparently, these guys have been going at it since 1942.

This particular scan is of an issue in really crap condition,with stains and a lot of cover-nicks. Overstreet guide notes that this issue is important, as it crosses over with the famous "Plastic Man is forced to Smoke Marijuana" comic book, and was referenced in F. Wertham's SEDUCTION OF THE INNOCENT.
The title of the main story, RESPECT THE COCKSMOKER, was cited in the Senate Subcomitte as "lewd" and helped usher in the era of censorship, and the Comics Code Authority. See what happens in mad wars of escalation?
