: What is Kevin's opinion of the upcoming X-men flick?

Kevin was quoted as saying that he's not much of an X-Men fan, but will go ahead and see it out of curiousity and, I believe, because of Bryan Singer's involvement.

: I am a devout X-Fan and from what i've seen so far i'm kinda iffy about. It looks to me like it's one of those comic flicks that you have to go into it and suspend all knowledge you have of the actual comic.

I don't. It looks to me like it's going to be very true to the spirit and story of the book. It just won't imitate every last detail of it's look and style in terms of things that don't translate well to 3-D live action.

: Hopefully it doesn't end up down the same tube that Fantastic Four did

Well, and I think its main mistake is being too true to the source material. Good comic stories and images don't translate perfectly to live action film.

I have nothing but optimism about X-MEN myself.
