Does it reazlly matter...DO you think in your tiny little mind...that every woman who is assaulted or raped tells some one...Or calls up gallup...Jesus...man have a heart..the point is that women are attacked on a daily basis...go visit a hospital and see the physical abuse that goes on in this country...lost your job...get drunk and beat the hell out of your wife......hot chick wont go out with you...stalk her and rape her...show her who's boss....it goes on everyday of the fucking year....so keep your head in the sand until you get your "stats" maybe next time it happens one of the "so-called three" will be someone you know...then I guess all the stats in the world wont matter....
It's shit like this that makes me mad the murder is illegal.
Mr. Collins would have been much more brutal.........

With all due respect, and while I agree with almost
: everything you said in this message, 1 in 3 women
: being raped is NOT a statistical fact.
: : One in three women ARE raped - that's a statistical fact.
: Statistics are a tricky thing. I have often heard in the past
: how 1 in 4 women will be a victim of sexual assault in their
: lifetimes. I also do not hold this as fact. I have yet to ever
: actually see the study or numbers to back this up. Think of what
: 1 in 3 means. Out of every three women you know, one has been
: raped. This is highly unlikely, and borders on the absurd.
: I know this will be taken the wrong way, but my point is
: that we (individuals, media, etc..) have to be careful
: not to perpetuate bad science or incorrect data. These
: stats are often released in the media and take on a life of their
: own, with no one actually knowing or remembering the original source
: of the data.
: Once again, i do agree with everything you said in this
: message. It is important for men to understand the very real
: and daily threat of sexual assault to women. I am not trying
: to make light of the subject, just trying to make a point
: about stats and numbers.
