"El Dorado" isn't a Bob-Jay ripoff but a Bing Crosby-Bob Hope ripoff from their 40s road pics. Even the title. Apparently, the people who wrote and produced "El Dorado" are a little older than you or have seen the Crosby-Hope pics.
: : I don't know about that. But I do think that the guy who did that, his character is an almost perfect mix between Jay and Silent Bob.
: ...I just saw that movie THE SKULLS, and it got me thinking. You know who else has skulls? Jay and Silent Bob. Not to mention EVERYONE ELSE IN THE VA MOVIES. I'm sick of other films ripping View Askew off.
: And don't get me started on THE ROAD TO EL DORADO. First of all, two male leads runnin' around causing trouble? Hello, Jay and Bob rip-offs. And at times, there's music playing under people talking. Way to rip off MALLRATS.
