Hello everybody!!!
I'M TRYING TO MAKE CONTACT WITH KEVIN SMITH.
My name’s Pablo and I am member of comic-book association “La Trama” that organize every year the comic convention Unicomic at the University of Alicante.
We would like to invite you in March next year 2001.Unicomic has a little thing to do witha typical convention in USA, Wizard World for example. We don’t have stands to sell comics. We are not doing this for money, we’re in this because we like comics, we love to talk about them. University helps us with all the money and all of it is used for the convention, we don’t earn a cent. We just gather a lot of comic-books fans all together in big auditoriums and we chat in confecences about comics and it’s industry, authors, series, etc. We think that the best way of making a comic convention is creting a friendly atmosphere where everybody can feel themselves like at home.
Of course we will pay for the flight ticket, meals, hotel, etc.
Mike and Laura Allred have accepted our invitation, so they will be with us next year. That´s why we think would be a good idea of having you both at Unicomic so I’ve been told you’re good friends.
I hope you think about our invitation and you agree to come to Spain again.
We had in last Unicomic as foreign guests artist Gary Frank and writer Scott Lobdell. They really love us. If you know them, you can ask them what they think about Alicante and Unicomic.
