:I'd be interested to know if everyone on the board who is presently howling that I should simply ignore or "get over" Kevin's repeated dislike for both me and my work (in trade paperbacks, in CBG lettercols, in comics, ad nauseum) told Kevin that he should simply ignore those who slammed "Dogma," calling it disrespectful. Did they say, "Get over it! Don't whine about it!" Or did they say, "You go get 'em, Kevin! Don't let anyone push you around!"
I wasn't reading the board at the time. You tell me.

I don't know what those people presently advising you to ignore Kevin's comments said with respect to Dogma's detractors. But a quick looksie at the post where Kevin first reveals his involvement in that protest (board 111 or so), gives the following cross-section of opinions; none, as you will observe, encouraging him to go after them.
"The Catholic League is no exception (though they are loathe to admit it, of course). My advice, don't worry about it. ...Anyway, as you said a couple of days ago, if you don't like something, ignore it and it will go away.

Kevin, I think most of us free-thinkers know that Dogma is a ground-breaking, hilarious, thought-provoking comedy. The rest
will simply lose interest when the next "controversy" comes along.

good show with the protesters, but seriously no coffee and donuts? these guys just obviously don't know how to rant
-Jonathan Ellis"
As I pointed out, none of these people are in present discussions with you, but I do think this is representative of the folks here.
And considering that Kevin has been on the board after your posts, yet has not addressed any of them, would suggest that he intends to follow turtle's advice. Not very civil if that is indeed the case...a hello would've been nice.
And Peter...I think you should give Mick the Chuckg treatment.
