*"DOGMA" SPOILERS abound here, kids!!*

Loki refers to Bartleby's third-act character development as "...lost it!" and "...snapped!" respectively...

...and indeed, thespian/pimp, Ben certainly seems to crash-&-burn in the simultaneous instant that The Last Scion:
--reveals herself...
--shrugs her quest to thwart him...
--laughs in his face.

Yet still, this is a quick 180-deg. for an angel of any Heavenly Choir (ie. experience-level to all the RPG-heads in the audience...)

Rewatching the film, I was wondering if there were some early kernels of character from Affleck, foreshadowing the path he would take...

Even with the Complex/Mooby Board, Barry still seems to be the most cynical/skeptical cat in the room with regards to Larry's would-be crusade ("If only They'd let us jerk-off..." seems to be Loki's most-astute observation in any-reel of the flick...

...that is, of course, until he starts batting-off a the Complex/Mooby Board's laundry-list of sins like a slugger-fanboy...

Is this the first major occurence of Bartleby's "righteous" turn-around?
