Mr. Bruckheimer as been leaning toward the PG-13 for sometime now. It's a kid's world out there, and Hollywood is well aware to make their product for everybody to enjoy...

Regardless if the film loses it's integrity.

I have read COYOTE UGLY, and it's not such an inconceivable idea that it's a PG-13. It wasn't that raunchy, nor that obscene. Only one moment of nudity in the script and all the language can be ditched easily.

What's worse? GONE IN SIXTY SECONDS is PG-13. That should have been a "Fuck" and Fight film if I ever saw one. My expectations for that film have lowered now. PEARL HARBOR will be a PG-13 flick as well. On the upside, ME, MYSELF & IRENE will be rated R. Nice to see nothing in that film will be held back.

The MPAA is made up of a rotating group of parents. Parents decide what is objectionable, so that should answer any questions about why sex in penalized and violence slips right on by.
