Hi Kevin, your visit to Tulane was a while back but I haven't had time to post anything online until now, after finals. It was such a thrill to have you there and great fun. You told some wild stories. We had Kevin Spacey come earlier in the year to talk about American Beauty and although he is an amazing actor who gave a fantastic performance I kept thinking how much more interesting it would have been to talk to the writer and/or director of the movie. Having you there to talk about the movies I loved from your writer/director perspective was so very cool. I am very sorry that Tulane University Campus Programming kicked you out at midnight. That was really lame. I guess stuff had to be locked up by 1 or something. I personally wasn't so upset with them considering they were cool enough to get you there. Thanks for staying and talking to us as long as you did. I waited in line after to see if you would sign my copy of Clerks but then they kicked us all out. My friend Amber and I both had questions that didn't get asked and if you read this maybe you could answer them. You mentioned about Mallrats being not your favorite movie but I once read something about you being embarrassed by it. Is that true? Because although I don't think Mallrats is your best movie (right now I am crazy about Dogma) I did like Mallrats a lot and watch it from time to time. It is pretty popular around Tulane. And my friend Amber is a Harold and Maude fanatic. She wondered if you cast Bud Cort as John Doe/God based on Harold and Maude. Anyhow, it was awesome awesome awesome having you. You met and exceeded all my expectations. Thanks for letting us see the preview of Clerks the cartoon. It was very funny though also it was a bit surreal and strange to see a cartoon form of the movie I have seen way too many times. Keep up the great work and thanks again for coming.
Later,
Andrea Kahn
