: Mr. Griffin -- : From your earlier messages I drew the conclusion that you are fairly new to this realm, so before you become embroiled in something you don't want to deal with I feel obliged to offer some observations. Different people are drawn to different elements in Mr. Smith's movies; some like you are drawn to the message of faith, others are drawn to the cynical and often biting humor. Many of the people who bum about this website tend to lean towards the latter. Of this group, Mick is probably the harshest in his execution of insulting wit (yes, believe it or not, he is occasionally quite witty). It's not personal (how could it be coming from a person who doesn't know you and will likely never meet you?) and believe me, his comments to you are far from the worst he's made on this board. : While I'm not a Christian, it impresses me when anyone is true to their beliefs; you've turned the other cheek quite nicely and I encourage you to do the same in the future. It disturbs me that you should be mocked for your religion or your profession; there is no reason for this to happen other than that people are bored, or ill-tempered, and enjoy taking out their hostilities on innocent bystanders. Pay it no heed. But, if for some reason it should continue I hope you and Mick or whoever will say what you need to say through e-mail, as this board just isn't big enough to handle every flare-up that happens. : -- Isis : Will never understand why people go out of their way to offend each other.
