It told you to read the summaries before posting. But i'll help you out anyway. This happened a long time ago. Kevin was hired to write the script and did a great job. But, Tim Burton (the director) didn't like the fact that people were calling it Kevin Smith's Superman not Tim Burton's superman. So he got kevin off the project. He himself then dropped it to do sleepy hollow. There is really no chance of it getting made now.

: Kevin,

: I don't know if you ever reply to the board or not, but I figure I will give it a shot. I am a huge Superman fan, and when I heard about you being on board to write it, I was thoroughly impressed. I have seen your movies and 2 of them have comics plastered on them, so I figured that you had the mindset to create something spectacular.

: I just recently read an interview with you about Warner Bros. and your Superman script details. As I was reading what the Warner Bros. execs asked for, I immediatlety came up with a response that pretty much mirrored everything that you said. I would _really_ if at all possible like to read the script that you wrote. I don't know if that would be possible because of NDA's, but if it would, I would be exstatic to read it. I love everything that you promoted in the peices that you disclosed from your script, and hate what these bastards want to do to the movie (namely Oliver Stone...Dark bastard).

: Well, that was my humble request for something that is most likely impossible to get a hold of (you know like being able to fly...ha ha ;)

: Thanks,

: Jason Sarich
