He seemed pretty firm that it was a done deal, and why fly out to CA to promote something if you don't care if it hits or not? Seems like we're gonna see the six finished episodes and no more. I'm guessing the whole hassle of it, including the last-minute ABC switcheroo, just became too much.
Of course, let it turn out to be a fantastic smash and that may change. It's a crazy world, anything can happen.
